The WRSA and the Organizing Committee of the 9^th World Rabbit Congress are pleased to announce that:

have given their support for sponsoring rabbit scientists from lesser developed countries (LDC’s) to attend and present papers or posters at the 9^th World Rabbit Congress. The WRSA budget has covered the grants of 11 researchers from LDC’s, while the CIHEAM budget has been reserved to cover the expenses of 4 researchers from North Africa.

WRSA thanks all have contributed to the scholarships above and, in particular national WRSA branches: Italy (ASIC), Spain (ASESCU), France (ASFC), Hungary and German; the Committee “Amici del Prof. Barei”; the Department of Animal Science and the “Curso de cunicoltura on-line” of the Universidad Politecnica de Valencia, Spain; the industries AIA, Lesaffre Additives, Raggio di Sole and Mekarn.
